Café Tropical is a smoothie and juice bar that wanted vibrant branding to match their punchy, natural flavors. However, they didn't want to come across as an exclusive, expensive health food brand. I researched their ingredients, ideal customers and competition set to see how I could help them stand out.
Using Procreate and Adobe Illustrator, I developed a color palette that could stand the test of time with several possible tone-on-tone, complimentary and contrasting color combinations. I developed a series of hand-drawn illustrations to add texture and iconography to the brand. For the Logo font, I chose a blocky, font full of personality with natural, imperfect lines to make the brand approachable.
