Illustration + Surface Pattern Design
Eyes Wide Open surface pattern was hand-illustrated in Procreate and vectorized with Adobe Illustrator. Inspired by a holiday in Greece, this design features snakes with multiple eyes to ward of the evil eye. The eyes and snakes also represent Medusa, the cursed Gargon whose head sprouted snakes and whose gaze turned others to stone. Using Agean, Cobalt, and Santorini blues, this pattern is perfect for beach towels, accessories, like tote bags and socks, or office supplies, like notebooks and stationary. This pattern could also be converted to an engaging book cover design.
